Send Company Announcements as Email
HTML emails are a balance of image and text. An HTML email that is mostly text will read nicely in all email. Below is a typical HTML email received by an email client that
is able to view HTML emails.
Where do problems arise?
Below is the same email as seen above for a client who cannot read HTML. All pictures are reverted to their links and the text is in chunks in between. The reader would have to launch a browser and click one of the links to view the message or sift through the links for content. Most content is in the form of an image so in this instance only the captions remain. If too much information is being showcased in the form on an image, it will not be visible to customers that do not have HTML capabilities.

What follows is another HTML email designed with images as links and the text free and unformatted at the bottom.

Below is that same email received in a junk mail folder with spam mail blocking. The point of the email being the link to the sale is completely missing.
However, the details of the sale are still below in the unformatted text. This text will look different in all email clients based on the client's preferences, but it is only there for backup—not design. Therefore changes in font or color are not important.
